How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I became interested in owning a tint shop after I searched for someone to tint the windows of a retail business I own. Despite there being several people in the Hickory, NC area that tint, I was unable to get any of them to even answer their phone, return a call, or respond to an email. To me that is unacceptable behavior, and I felt that someone could really have a successful window tinting business if they treated it like a business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We answer the telephone and emails. We are here when we say we are here. Also, we use premium USA made window films that are covered by a national lifetime warranty. Additionally we cut the majority of our tint on a large format plotter with software that ensures we get the best cut for your car. Other shops around do not use this technology, but rather rely on inconsistent hand cutting of films which could potentially cause scratches in your windows or trim.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location, with plans on expansion in the future.
