Effective Media Solutions is a full service marketing and advertising agency based in Charlotte, NC. We handle all types of clients, but our speciality is in the Contracting Industry with a focus on the HVAC industry. We help contractors grow their business by helping them craft their unique brand in the marketplace. We carry this branding across all forms of media to create a clear and concise message. Our agency services include: TV and Radio Production, Media Buying and Planning, Graphic Design, Branding, Billboards, Newspaper, Jingles and Slogans, and Internet. Effective Media specializes in website development. Our sites are optimized for SEO to help our clients maximize their exposure. Each website is designed to be a lead generation source for HVAC companies. We understand a company's website is the final touch point before consumers buy today. How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Developing a strategy on behalf of large media companies, including Clear Channel and Time Warner Cable, to make advertisers pay the highest possible rates was my job for over 16 years. As a media company sales manager, I negotiated millions of ad dollars on behalf of these companies in two separate top ten markets.
Since 2005, I have used this innovative skill set on behalf of the advertiser to obtain much better buys from television, radio and billboard companies. In most cases I am able to double or even TRIPLE the amount of airtime that a company is currently receiving for the same budget. There are a lot of buyers out there, but few that share my sales management experience in two distinct types of media.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We can double if not triple the amount of advertising you get for the same investment!
I understand the media company’s inventory systems and demand. Often times I am able to show account executives how to package a buy so that their sales manager will approve. Developing a positive ongoing relationship with the account executive is key to insuring my clients receive the best possible rates.
